Capel Rugs and Richmond CARITAS Partner in “Trade In, Trade Up” Event
Used rug drive to benefit local families in need
Richmond, VA – The Capel Rugs store located at 3995 Deep Rock Road is partnering with CARITAS of Richmond for its annual “Trade In, Trade Up” event March 29-April 25. Buyers interested in purchasing a new rug can bring in a gently used rug to donate to the CARITAS furniture bank and receive 25 percent off their purchase and a tax receipt for their donation.
“We’re pleased to be partnering with CARITAS for this event,” said Managing Director of Capel Retail Ron Capel. “It’s a great chance for us to give back to the community.”
The Capel Rugs staff will be available Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to help customers unload used rugs throughout the event.
“Spring is a popular time of year for redecorating, and it’s also when we’re getting in lots of new products,” said Richmond Store Manager Marie Hayden. “It’s a great opportunity to freshen up your home and help local families in need.”
This year marks the second time the Richmond store has participated in the event.
